What product information formats does epody accept?

Epody accepts data in any format you currently use — spreadsheets, CSV or Excel files, product feeds, PDFs, supplier catalogues, product URLs, images and incomplete internal records. No manual data cleaning is required before submission. Epody's audit process identifies what is present, what is missing and what needs attention.

Do we need to clean our data before sending it to epody?

No. Send the information you have. Part of epody's managed workflow is assessing what exists, identifying gaps and inconsistencies, and determining the most effective enrichment approach. Cleaning and structuring your data is included in the service, not a prerequisite for it.

How does epody ensure quality?

Every product passes structured quality assurance before it is presented to you for review. Epody checks for accuracy, completeness, consistency, attribute alignment and adherence to your specific requirements. You compare the original and enriched version, request changes and give final approval through the portal.

How long does enrichment take?

Timelines depend on catalogue size, the depth of enrichment required and the quality of source information. For a focused set of priority products, initial output can typically be reviewed within a few working days. Epody will agree realistic timelines based on your specific scope during onboarding.

What happens if content needs to be revised?

If enriched content does not meet your requirements, you request a revision through the portal with specific feedback. Epody reviews your comments and returns an updated version for re-approval. Revision requests are part of the standard managed workflow — not an additional charge.

How does ongoing catalogue management work as my catalogue changes?

Epody's ongoing managed plans are designed to scale with catalogue changes. New products, supplier updates, range additions and seasonal refreshes are handled through the same managed workflow. You submit new or changed records through the portal or via a scheduled feed, and Epody processes them against your established quality standards and requirements.

Does epody replace our existing ecommerce platform or PIM?

No. Epody delivers export-ready, structured product information that is prepared for your existing platform. Output is available as clean CSV files, platform-ready exports (including Shopify-compatible formats) and structured feeds — without requiring you to replace or rebuild your current technology stack.
